The Third Asia Oceania Regional Workshop on GNSS was successfully held with 86 participants from 9 countries in Korea, Jeju. In the workshop. In the workshop, five Multi-GNSS application experiments were endorsed as the Multi-GNSS Demonstration Campaign. Please refer to the Chairman's Report for the Workshop. The materials of the second GNSS Workshop have been available for the participants.
Chairman's Report
The 3rd Asia Oceania Regional Workshop on GNSS will be held in Jeju-Island, Korea, 2nd - 3rd November 2011, jointly organized by GNSS Technology Council (GTC), the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI), the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), and the Satellite Positioning Research and Application Center (SPAC) of Japan, supported by International Committee on GNSS (ICG) and International GNSS Service (IGS). At this Workshop, the results of performance improvement of Multi-GNSS, including the technical and application verification results of “MICHIBIKI,” will be presented. The participants will share and discuss the specific plans of such as lending rule of Multi-GNSS receiver, application guideline of joint experiments for the Multi-GNSS utilization in the Asia Oceania Region, including in the various application fields, in order to promote Multi-GNSS application demonstration from the next year.
International organizations, government agencies, companies, universities and research institutes which have an interest in the utilization of multi-constellation GNSS are especially welcomed to participate in and to contribute to this workshop.

Registration Fee：
There is NO registration fee to participate in, or contribute to, this workshop.
Participant Capacity：
Capacity is limited to 200 people. Note that registrations for the GNSS Workshop will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis. The secretariat will send you a confirmation email if your on-line registration is accepted. Your name tag and meeting materials will be available at the on-site registration desk.

Presentation：
Your contribution is highly welcomed. If you wish to make a presentation about your idea and proposal at the GNSS Workshop, please send an email to the workshop secretariat (ws@multignss.asia) with your abstract (about 200 words) concerning your presentation by 21th October, 2011. Especially your joint project proposal for Multi-GNSS applications or networks, and your contribution to the Asia Oceania Multi-GNSS Demonstration Campaign are welcomed.
And also JAXA started to solicit the proposal of the first Multi-GNSS joint experiment in Asia Oceania region. (CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: JAXA’s Multi-GNSS Joint Experiment 2011). The application deadline is 21th October, 2011. It’s hoped that you apply for this experiment, and make a presentation on your proposal and discuss in this workshop.
Your proposal or presentation may then be incorporated into the final program. A complete paper is not necessary. Your presentation file will be opened in PDF format on the official website for the workshop participants.

We will offer the exhibition booth space in this Workshop so that you can display posters, distribute leaflets and exhibit demonstration units. We welcome many exhibitors from corporations, educational institutions of universities and research institutes

Announcement of The 18th GNSS Workshop hosted by GTC：
Following the 3rd Asia Oceania Regional Workshop on GNSS, the 18th GNSS Workshop will be held hosted by GTC at PHOENIX ISLAND HOTEL in Jeju-Island, Korea, 3rd – 4th November 2011. On the afternoon of 3rd November, the International Session will be held. We hope you can also participate in this workshop.
